I have a flock of 29 , a mix of hens and roosters.
I walked out to my coop yesterday to find my one rooster laying down not moving(breathing just not moving). I checked him over and didn’t see any visible injuries.
I took him out and put him in a cage with water and food while I went to work .
coming home he was still just laying there. Kinda odd but I brought the cage inside so I could keep an eye on him. I got him to eat and drink and he actually started to stand and take a few steps . He’s not steady and not 100% back to Normal. Hes still continuing to lay down because he’s wobbly when standing to long.
Any idea what could of happened or is wrong with my boy.
Not sure if it matters but I will mention he’s A White-Crested Black Polish cockerel
I can add pictures of him if needed

How pale is his comb? Have you checked for mites or lice? What is he eating? Did you check his vent? Check is abdominal area for a swollen full diaper like feeling. Are you certain all the girls are 100% fine? Was it hot out? Is his crop full or empty?

How old is he? You have multiple roosters/cockerels together with hens? Possibly tangled with another boy and got hurt? Head injuries in polish birds can be more common (the vaulted skull) , so maybe that's causing neurological symptoms, even if he just slammed into something trying to get away. I would give him some B vitamins (a human B complex tablet ground up in some feed) and some vitamin E (400 iu)with a bit of cooked egg, canned tuna, or sunflower seeds for a bit of selenium (helps them uptake the E) daily and see if he improves. Depending on your set up and how many birds you have in how much space, how many feeders, etc, possible that he's not getting good access to feeders, which could lead to some deficiencies.
