And checked again. It was in the live trap. It now literally is swimming with the fishes ( I threw the trap in the pond with a rope attached to haul it out again)

Weasels are not endangered. I am good with this outcome!

Well we don’t have guns or pepper spray as we live in town and pepper spray is illegal period.

Sorry pepper spray is illegal in your area, it is the only self defense spray you can legally carry is Wisconsin.
