So we recently fenced off a section of our backyard for our chickens so they could free range safely without being hassled by our dogs or the neighbors dogs. While getting it ready for them we remembered our washing machine drains out to that area. We have it taken care of so there is no standing water but my worry is the grass they are eating is being watered by the run off from our washing machine. Do you think this could harm our chickens or their eggs?

Doubtful, unless you are washing things that are contaminated with petrochemicals or other toxic substances.
No I’m just worried about the laundry soap or fabric softener causing a problem. I was thinking by the time it went out the drain it would be pretty watered down.

I'd consider relocating/diverting the drain to another location if possible. I don't think secondary exposure of laundry products is that much of a concern if they eat grass growing near it - but having an area that's constantly wetted with greywater inside a chicken pen may end up smelling quite a bit, as I'm sure just the greywater carries its own funkiness without the chicken poop addition
