Got this hen at the auction a few weeks ago. (I really should not be left unsupervised with adult money. Especially around animals for sale )
Butttttttt I only paid $3 for her.

I love middle schoolers! (6th - 8th graders.) For supper tonight I served 20# of chicken wings and 30# of thighs. One camper said, “I wonder how many chickens had to die for this meal?” Another one answered, “Probably at least four.”
