In the big city for another shot in the eye.

The shots have been helping, vision has improved.

I am GLAD I do not live in the city.. but I am finally getting used to coming up here every couple of months.... and I now ENJOY the shopping and food opportunities.

I don't think my body has been sucked out and replaced with a "new" alien me.....

Starting to sound plausible though. Ha!

I had the best French onion soup last night.... followed by bacon mac and then a pumpkin pie cheesecake!!!

I must also admit... I was tempted by all of the Christmas twinkle lights... it is so dark up here now... but I kept mentally smacking myself, saying "ELECTRIC BILL".... so I only bought a couple of strings ... (and "couple" is me rounding down a "bit") a few for the tree (I think I remember our old ones being mostly busted... and spouse likes electric lights on the tree).... but mostly for the chickens....

AND... it turns out, that the item that I have desperately needed for YEARS is with Christmas twinkle lights!!!! A short extension cord... one end goes into the outlet... then maybe 4 inches of cord, then a TIMER, and then it splits into 3 plugs!!!! SCORE!!!!

I also have been in the city too much lately.... I almost bought the line of yard candy canes....


Maybe it is age.... I am wanting to go full old person kitch... it is sucking me in!!!!

Good morning pond! 7 little early birds are running around the hatcher! They're not due till tomorrow but they started last night. I'm excited to see how many end up hatching
