Morning Pond Folks ! Frozen water this morning.
I was out at 8 banty went to their new home.
Only big girls here now seemed a bit weird this morning.

The visiting kids left today.

Back down to only 2.

This is the last year with 2.

I must say though, I am looking forward to the summer. We will still have the youngest 2 (kid #4 will leave at the end of summer for college), AND married kid (son #2) and bride will move in for the summer between college and grad school.

I am housebreaking Mocha my standard poodle at 6 months old.
They did not break any of the 4 pups.
How can one live like that ?
Now I am treating him like a new pup.
Bad dog, good dog potty outside.

Removed fern baskets from the porch (they finally froze) and replaced them with Christmas baskets. Put lights on porch and lighted Christmas cover on mailbox. Seasonal decorating has started. A little bit at a time as it is hand hurting cold.

Good morning pond. Crisp and cold on my lily pad. I've got my morning hot chocolate in my cup. The Christmas tree is up and decorated and smells nice and piney The cats seem to really leave a real tree alone and I like it so much more than our sad old artificial. There's a fresh dusting of snow outside with more supposed to fall today. I've been running nonstop since last Thursday so I'm going to hibernate inside today. I have some custom work to do for a few people but I think I can do that with a movie on and the little propane heater cooking My chest and shoulder are bothering me a bit this morning so an ibuprofen might be in my future. About 15 years ago, I sprained my entire left side chest wall and the cartilage in my breastbone pretty bad so every now and then if I lift something too heavy or move something the wrong way, my chest, shoulder, and up in to my neck get tight and sore. It'll all be ok though. It'll pass like usual, eventually... as long as I behave myself lol
