Wellsummer hen cant stand or fly and cracked beak

So shes better but still cant stand or walk. Poop is normal so im not too worried about mareks and everyone else is fine. I pulled dry food off her beak today i think a layer or thr beak came with it because its white now instead of black. I did notice her tail feels a little loose and almost floppy. Shes moving her legs and kicking with them when i hold her. Im at a loss! Whats the dose for human b complex and vitamin e?

400IU Vitamin E and 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily along with a little egg for the uptake of E.

Well unfortunately i think i figured out the problem. Either her neck or her breastbone is broken. And now she keeps opening her beak like she cant breathe 😢 Whats the quickest, most humane way to cull? Ive luckily never had to before.

Oh dear, I'm sorry to read this.

Can you feel the bone broken?
Is her crop really full and causing her gasp?

For sick birds, I use the broomstick method (Cervical Dislocation), but if you have a friend, family member or neighbor that is willing to help you that would be good.

Her neck feels like its making a z shape. Shes still with us and seems comfortable and eating and drinking without an issue. I cleaned her nostrils out because they were all gunky and gross and the gasping motion started slowing down. I dont know what to do! Shes a sweet sweet bird and shes only about 7 months old-she hasnt even started laying yet. ARG!

I'm sorry she's not improving.

It could be that you are dealing with Marek's disease, it's hard to know unless you lose her and have necropsy/testing done through your state lab. https://www.metzerfarms.com/poultry...llb5Rqe_-BzWlYtxmd1n84yqvtaFdWxn_j_E8vVS3jpZh

Only you can make the call when it's time to let her go.

In the meantime, I'd continue to get the vitamins into her, see that her crop is emptying. You can try placing her in a sling when she can be supervised to get her more upright position.

Shes still here. I couldnt do it.i had her in position to do the dislocation and i just couldnt. I know its part of farm life but i just couldnt. I started her on antibiotics-her throat is very gunky and her nose discharge smells awful. If it doesnt help, it has to be done. I contacted the necropsy place and i think i can bring her in alive and theyll euthenize her
