Welsh Harlequin

i recently got this lil cutie and the person who hatched thought it could be a WH? What do you guys say?

It's possible! It looks like a dark silver welsh harlequin duckling

Maybe maybe not... Does the person who hatched it not know what kind of eggs they had?

Looking at it again it actually looks more like a Khaki Campbell to me

She had a lot of different kind of eggs and was guessing when they hatched what they could be :/ thanks for the info she gave me these two( the two tiny ones) saying she thought brown one could be WH and darker one being swedish but your guess is better than mine I'm new at these with these three guys being my first ducklings:

Here are my two adults. Got them as little ducklings and didn't know the sex until their adult feathers came in. Now they are the happiest couple in the world. Wyatt (right) is very quick to let me know the water is below his liking and Josephine (left) loves to wander between the food and the water. Recently they were moved to the side garden where the cherry tomato bush got out of hand and they have had quite the time finding all those hidden gems. It has turned colder around here, getting down to the upper teens and they still love to be outside. Christmas day they got some pea treats and then napped in the sun with a temp of 25. So yeah, they aren't afraid of cold. Josephine still lays an egg a day when all the other poultry in my area has stopped. She is a real treat!

They are just gorgeous!!! I wish you luck with them being parents

I found a couple of more pictures of my ducks on my phone while I was clearing out some space. Compare the duckling photos to the adult photos, no wonder I couldn't tell what sex they were as ducklings.

The first picture is of them meeting their new lab puppy sister Benelli. Benelli wanted to know what all the noise was coming from the box in the bathroom.

The next is from the day I got them as a gift for opening a sculpture show at a local gallery.

does your welsh harlequin ever try to fly ?

Yes my girls do; however, they only get a few feet off of the ground. They fly a few feet to catch up with the other ducks.
