Interesting, I am dealing with the same surprise--white eggs instead of brown. We supposedly bought 7 Welsummers, but we're only getting white eggs. They are 5 months old. Oh well, they're pretty.

One does have white ear lobes, no real comb or wattle, the others have red or darkish ear lobes; and two of them have full combs and pretty wattles, the rest have none.

Just took these this am. All of them came from our local feed mill, who buys from Hoover Hatchery I believe. Also, please excuse the orientation--they were right-side up when I saved them

2&4 definitely look like Wellies....not sure about 1&3...5 is not a Wellie.
