Treating my rooster for an illness. He wouldn't eat anything, just kept going through water like a fish. So, I took some crumble and mixed it with water until it was mush. I made about half a cup total. Question is, how long can I keep that half cup of water/crumble mixture in front of him before it starts fermenting or goes bad? Change it daily? Twice a day?

I think it depends on the temperature that it stays at. It will go bad or ferment faster the warmer it is. I usually start out chicks with wetted crumble mixed with a little bit of raw ACV. I don't mix a lot up at a time, just a day's worth or two. I don't keep it in the fridge, either, because I figured whatever cultures the ACV brought to it might do better out of the fridge.

If you stir it regularly, and make sure there isn't anything fuzzy growing on it, it should be fine.
