Ah . We are swimming in cockerels ! We got our first batch of chicks from incubating eggs from a friend. 4 of the 5 have turned out to be cockerels. She gave us an additional 5 chicks from sexed chicks she ordered, presumably pullets. 1 of those 5 is for sure a cockerel (combs and wattle started growing around 3 weeks). If this one is also a cockerel, that makes 2 from our new batch for a total of 6 out of our 14

Phew! Ty! Well we either need to grow our coop to add more females to the mix or cull a few of the roos. I am so attached to them all! It makes me sad just thinking about it
