The color pattern of the "Hoen van de Zwalmvallei" is the combination of campine/autosomal barring and cuckoo/sexlinked barring.
Very pretty.

Each pattern except solids can be made in 4 groundcolors (silver, cream, gold, red) combined with the patterncolors (black, blue, lavender, chocolate, khaki, platinum, splash/white).
The combination of lavender and red is difficult because the lavender gene dilutes the red.

Patterns:
solid: black, blue, khaki, chocolate, lavender, buff, red, isabel, white
birchen, silver sussex, gold/silver hackled
wildtype, melanized wildtype like furnace and brassy back,
flitter (leghorn)
wheaten, salmon
columbian, ginger, blacktail
pencilled partridge
double laced
single laced, with and without laced tail
spangled, "halfmoon spangled" (dutch: getoept)
transverse pencilled = autosomal barring, wheatear pattern (Friesian)
lakenvelder, vorwerk, quail, moorkop = blackhead

all these can be mottled and/or barred
mottled columbian would become millefleur
mottled single laced would become jazz/tollbunt

once also existed black whitetail japanese

Serama colors like cocopop, coconut, butterscotch
