What Are These Growths On Hen's Legs?

Sure looks like they are growing out of the spur buds.
Not all spurs grow long with hard coating.
Don't think it's mite buildup, too long/skinny.
Mites don't look too bad, but pic isn't great.
Legs maybe look a bit swollen.
Odd coloration makes it hard to differentiate the scales.
Clean her feet and legs and take clearer pics maybe?
If limping came on fast, more likely caused by a minor 'sprain', can take weeks to pass.

Blew the pics up again and it could be spurs.
The first pic shows them well and in the location that spurs would be......

Is she missing scales? Very hard to see in the pics.

The treatment needs to be more regular and everyone as well as the coop and run need treated.
From my reading about them the pretty scales are likely to take a very long time to return.

Do they have a good dust bathing area?
If not I recommend you make one. A simple frame out of wood or even old tractor tires can help contain it.

My dusting areas have a mix of peat moss, wood ash, sevin dust, sand and top soil. I only put the sevin dust in once a month and only during summer.

You should clean out every bit of shavings and spray the coop with a permethrin spray.
The removed bedding should be burned or bagged for removal.

I have an 18 month old EE who has always been healthy. About 6 wks ago she just looked 'off' with no obvious cause. She was - and continues to - eat, drink and poop normally.

As time has progressed she is having difficulty walking. She walks with a limp, which hasn't gotten better. I've checked her for bumblefoot, cuts, breaks etc - nothing. She has had scaly leg mites and I'm treating her for that.

In addition, she seems to have two growths from the side of her legs (one bigger than the other) that look like weird little toes (but not spurs) that weren't there before. Any suggestions? Any ideas what those growths are

Not saying that your chicken didn't have leg mites, my two hens have been through something that looks like leg mites but it wasn't. I took one hen to the vet to get her feet checked. Found out that it wasn't leg mites and he couldn't say what it was but I had to use a toothbrush and iodine to clean their feet. Eventually the scales would loosen and fall off. It went on for a long time for Ray Ray. Two years I believe. Eventually she developed something that looked like your hen's until one day they became sharp and smooth spurs. Then her scales slowly went back to normal and Luna my other hen got the same issue. Vasaline made it easier to remove the scales and she is developing the same thing. My chickens are all indoor and for the last 4 years no one else has developed this problem. If it was scale mites others would have been afflicted already and are not. Luna also walk like it's uncomfortable but hasn't shown serious illness signs that a scale mites would inflict. Perfect health. I've been looking for a post like this and couldn't find anything that looked similar except scaly leg mites. It's strange.
