What are you using for a duck waterer?

I found a flexible rubber tub in the woods that I plan to use for winter pool (one duck at a time). Horse supplies offer hard rubber buckets and soft (black) rubber feeders.

I am hoping that the soft rubber is small enough to dump the ice blocks out and refill. (I am old and not supposed to lift heavy stuff. I am committing a no-no every time I dump the big baby pool.)

I have yet to make my cookie tin heaters, but plan to put them under a bucket and perhaps the black rubber tub.

they do need water containers that are deep so they can get their beaks into them, I do use a bucket as well and because they try and bath in it (even though they have a pool) they knock it over so if you put a heavy stone at the bottom, it should do the trick.
