Since it’s a heatwave right now I thought it would be the perfect time to try to raise chicks outside.

I went to TCS today and they have these labeled as pullets but they didn’t have their usual signs on what their breed actually is. I think I have two brahmas, a orpington, and black sexlink? I’m really stuck on what the black one is so any ideas? Oh and I know the older girls are lavender orpingtons.

Your pictures are limited, so kind of hard to determine.
There are not many black chickens that I can recall off hand.
The 2 that pop to my mind, are ; Black sex link, and Black Australorp.
Considering you got them from TSC, Tractor supply corp. (you wrote TCS) they are very possibly commonly available Black Sex Link chickens. But those are not always jet black like you chick pictured.
So I am leaning to BLACK AUSTRALORP :thumbsup

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and:welcome
