What breed are these!?

Hello BYC family! About a year ago I brought home a rescue chicken with 8 chicks. This rooster, was one of those chicks. Also, the black hen besides him is his sister. However, I have no idea what breed they are. Would any of you happened to know what breed is this guy!? He is an extremely sweet boy! Never once dared attack me or any of my family members.

Now, I also have this hen which I bought at the feed store, but they did not knew her breed. She was kind of black and brown when she was a baby. That’s the reason I bought her, but she turned out completely different than what I expected. Regardless, she is beautiful.

Awesome! I’m excited. She hasn't started laying yet. She is only five months old. Hopefully soon!
