What breed + gender are these?

I came across 2 chicks about 2 weeks ago and I am wondering what breed and gender these 2 adolescent chickens are?

Looks like a light Brahma and either a barred rock or cuckoo Marans. Hard to see it's foot coloring. A bit too young to sex.

They are both pullets.
Chick on the left is a light brahma, and chick on the right is a Cuckoo Maran I think. Does the black barred one have feathered feet?
May I ask why there are red areas of peach fuzz on the light brahma? Dyed for Easter or something?

What was the source of the chicks? Store bought or from a backyard breeder?

Those are the chicks natural colors. Did not dye them. The black one does not have feathered feet. Sorry for the late response

Probably not Cuckoo Maran then - looks like Barred Rock.
