What breed is this 3 week old chick that’s supposed to be a cream legbar.

Oh yes, bright yellow legs are a must in CL.

Have you assigned them their names? If not yet, I suggest going for Japanese J names for them. These names are short, just like these little chicks, so would suit better right?

That’s really disappointing. I paid a lot for them. oh well. Although, the dark brown one does appear to have feathers growing from her head and the light one has feathers growing from her ears so i don’t know anymore

They look everything except cream legbars.
The yellow one appears to have muffler and beard, and none of them have the legbar crest.

But don’t they develop the crest a little later. That’s what I thought from what I have researched

They both look like easter eggers. If you want a legbar, the feed store and big hatchery legbars are not the way to go. At this point you would see a small crest, and I am seeing small muffs and beards. My legbar chicks started getting their head tuft at 2 weeks of age and they were very prominent.

Thanks for letting me know. Still extremely disappointing cause I was really excited for a CL. And I paid a lot for them!! lol

That sucks! Some farm stores and their workers are more knowledgeable than others sadly. Your EEs do have a chance at laying green or blue eggs and they too have fun fluff on their faces,l. So, sort of similar to the CL! Both are wonderful breeds.
