Easter Eggers are mixes bred specifically for their colorful eggs. They won't always lay blue but that's the goal. The reason they typically have muffs and beard is because they are often mixed with Ameraucanas. They can be also be bred with Crested Cream Legbars or Whiting True Blues which will not have muffs or beards.I always thought EE meant a crossbred with muffs and a beard?
