She is a mixed chicken. She may or may not have some Ameraucana in her lineage somewhere, with the muff and beard, but Salmon Faverolles have muffs and beards too, and lay tan eggs. How many toes does she have and what color are her legs? Whatever she is, whatever gave her the muff and beard is at least two or three generations back. She's just a funky mix. I wouldn't call her an EE because she doesnt lay a colored egg. To me, an EE needs more than a muff and/or a beard to be an EE.

I always thought EE meant a crossbred with muffs and a beard?
Easter Eggers are mixes bred specifically for their colorful eggs. They won't always lay blue but that's the goal. The reason they typically have muffs and beard is because they are often mixed with Ameraucanas. They can be also be bred with Crested Cream Legbars or Whiting True Blues which will not have muffs or beards.

So basically:

Not all Easter Eggers will have muffs and beards.

Not all mixed with muffs and beards are Easter Eggers.
