What breed is this???

Hello I got these two hens from a friend. Any idea what breed they are??

Yes, Orpingtons come in many different varieties. I'm not sure if they are any of the recognized colors though. Maybe your friend was working on a breeding project? Is it possible to ask?

Different color patterns.. not ones we have in the US that I'm familiar with (maybe project colors or not conforming to the standard).. but Orpington.. nice English standard bred, was also my first thought.

They might just be considered barn/back yard cross.

Did you happen to get the English Orpington variety pack from Hoover’s hatchery? They do look like English Orpington!

I got ahold of my friend and she said yes they are English Orpingtons . She special ordered them through bomgaars. No feathered feet.

No I actually got ahold of her and she said she special ordered them through bomgaars
