What chicken parts do you give to your dogs?

Raw chicken hearts are perfect to hide pills in… I used them for when my dog had Lyme. Just slip the pills in the pre existing pockets.
We feed the gizzards, hearts, livers and feet. If we did the butchering ourselves they’d get everything but the bile sac.

My dogs get cooked whole chicken white meat and occasionally cooked chicken organs. Sometimes it's what's left of a rotisserie which can be boiled down off the bone. The only bones they get are beef marrow bones which they just scrape clean of the meat themselves.

What parts do you give your dogs when you process a chicken?

How do you cook or prepare those parts for the dogs to eat?
Hello I prepared my chicken thigh with salt and pepper and cooked it in my oven. I put it on the counter and my dog ate it just fine. Bones and all. I was sad and my dog was happy.

My border collie lived for over 16 years eating predator raw. Raw meat has vitamin C in it. Raw bones have everything they need to grow bones and ward off inflammation (arthritis). The dogs will also have clean teeth from chewing the bones. If you wish to feed raw, first read up on it. There are websites, books, and plenty of information.

We have two terriers. We save hearts, livers and the body cavity scrapings which may include lung, trachea, fat and bits of clotted blood. All that goes in a pot with water, a dash of garlic salt and cooked until done. The water turns to a broth. Our dogs go nuts over this concoction added as a topping on their regular food.
