What color are your duck eggs?

Maybe post a picture of your eggs! Quite a few can lay green tinted, could be Mallard or Cayuga. My Cayuga lays cream colored eggs. My Blue Swedish lays grey.

My mallard lays a light blue green tinted smaller egg, Pekin lays big white oblong eggs, one runner lays cream to white large round eggs. You can get variation of colors even within same breed of duck.

Oh, I wasn't really needing to know the breed I got, I was just curious about color variety. I thought duck eggs were just white, so I was surprised to see the two with the green tint. Here's a pic, although it's not that great. The one on the left middle and one of the ones on right have the green tint. The rest are varying shades of white (or dirty).

Pretty ducks! I have three pekins and a khaki campbell.

Just realized I never hit the reply button;

Thank you!! And I was so excited once I found out ducks can lay an assortment of egg colors, I was really hoping my Cayuga would lay a black egg (but she did not). If you scrub the eggs the outside tint will rub off and it will be white underneath still.

Once we have more room I want to get more ducks in an assortment of breeds so I can get more variation in my eggs.
