Now, to me the shoes and the pale chestnut looks the same. Does the circled part look brown to yall??

It looks kinda pinky brown. I think my brain is taking into account the darker areas as well, that look more brown, and also thinking that they're most likely brown, because no one would have boots that are "Pale chestnut" or "dusty mauve" unless they were really weird.

Pinky brown is what dusty mauve is.
