I have a very light colored blue ameraucana rooster, as well as a black and (average color) blue Am. roosters. I have splash, blue, and black hens. What kind of combo produces Lavender??

Blacks are good to cross with lavendar ameraucanas. But you need to get a lav to cross with them, I dont suggest using blues or splashed with lav if youre breeding toward standard. But i do like the look of blue based lavenders over the standard black based.

Might be a bit late to respond. I have been doing a lot of research on Lavender Ameraucanas. They are gorgeous birds! Lavender is a dilute gene from black. Lavender is also called self blue. it is a recessive gene, so that you would need two lavender birds to produce lavender or a black split to lavender crossed with a lavender or another black split to get lavender chicks.
Look up lavender breeding chart on line for details. The black split to lavender birds are often bred back to the lavender to keep the color and feather quality up. Lavender birds often have what is known as the "tail shredder gene", by breeding back to black split to lavender helps improve the feather quality. FYI the self blue color was recently recognized by the ameraucana breed standard (the pure bred birds and not the americana or easter eggers, which are essentially mutts, though also awesome). Hope this was helpful!
