Should i worry about the black on the comb tips? is there anything i can do for that? they were dumped at our place over night and it was cold and frosty overnight

That is some slight frostbiting, which often occurs with single combed fowl. There really isn't anything you can do about it, but let it heal. You can rub some oil (butter, olive oil) on their combs/wattles if you think they are chapped. With time those comb tips may fall off.
