i dont like wasting stuff!! so what do you do with your grease???

You could reheat it and mix it with grain/chicken feed for your birds.

We rarely have any but sometimes put it on the dogs' food. It is also very handy if they get poisoned (until they get to a vet).

Are you kidding? ....lol..... You have to put it in a cup or something and just put it in your fridge. Use it in green beans, corn, any veggie. Gives GREAT flavor. It's not the healthiest, but it sure is tasty!

I cook bacon regularly around here. I save the grease to use in soap making. No, the soap doesn't smell like bacon. You clarfy the grease by boiling it with water and then chilling it. You scoop off the hardened grease and leave any impurities in the water.

Steamed green beans taste terrific if you drizzle a bit of bacon grease on the top just before serving. It is also great to grease a pan for scrambled eggs. So many options, so little time.

I spend $8 a lb for nitrate free bacon from the farm, so I save ALL the grease!!! I usually let it cool a bit then pour it into a glass jar and just leave it on the counter. I then use it for frying eggs, liver, and other stuff. Bacon grease from farm raised pigs isn't even bad for you IMO

Pour enough to coat the bottom of a cast iron skillet with a thin layer. Put said skillet in oven and preheat. Make cornbread batter replacing the fat you normally use with the bacon grease. Pour batter into hot skillet. Bake till done. Call me and Ill bring the chili to go with the bread:D

I buy the cheapest white bread I can find and use it to soak up all meat drippings, then pop the bread into my suet feeder. The birds love it.

throw out bacon gease...I am fairly sure that is hangable offense! Looks like there were some great ideas given!

Can't eat green beans w/o it..and cornbread!
