What do you like in your quiche?

A few weeks ago we picked up a premade quiche at Aldi on a whim, and turns out my kids LOVED it. My daughters are autistic and one of them is a picky eater and its always a pain to find new things she enjoys. Well she loved that quiche.

My wife made her own, just store bought pie crust, some jimmy dean hot sausage and egg. That turned out wonderful too.

I'd like to try new ingredients. So I'm interested to hear what others like in their quiche?

Ooh, I was just thinking about quiche yesterday! Most commonly I make mine with spinach and feta cheese. But the wonderful thing about quiche is that you can really throw anything in there. I've used onion, garlic, peppers, bacon, ham, chopped greens. Husband likes it best when I put ham or bacon in it. And I always use lots of shredded cheese no matter what else goes in there. Mostly cheddar, but it's also a great way to use up any little bits of leftover shredded cheese in open bags. I always use store bought pie crust because I'm terrible at making it from scratch.
