I got the bird from eggs we hatched in my classroom, barnyard mix.

The bird is very docile, but its comb has started to look a tad pink. There are no siblings who resemble this bird, so it's hard to compare it with the others. It is about 2.5 weeks old. It is larger than the others, but the farm has some bantms so the sizes of the birds are all over the place.

Too soon?

I've been told it's easier to tell breed starting at 4 weeks or more, gender can take a bit longer depending on the breed and whether they're pure, hybrid or mixed breeds.
Try getting shots of the face straight on and from the side, back, feet/legs, breast/chest and side body shots.
I personally find it easier to capture video, then pull stills (screen shots when the the video is paused) and post those.
My 5 turn 4 weeks on Monday so I'll be getting new pictures posted in the next few days.
