What gender is this muscovy?

Is this a female or a male?

This is my first experience with a muscovy. I'm doing research currently but wondering if anyone who's more experienced with the breed can more accurately tell.

Long story short, my neighbors couldn't bring themselves to process the bird and offered it to me.

I have four ducks and ample space, just wondering what gender it is.

I see he is standing in a children's wading pool. That's a good sign. My flock of drakes are stinkers who have to be hosed down when they get too ripe as they wont to in the pool!

What? The hosing them down? All the time in hot and warm months. I just brought them on an extended stay in Northern Virginia. I didn't even bring a kiddie pool with me. It would have been a waste of space in my truck. I did bring a vinyl tote and my slightly cleaner pekin drake has been bathing in that.

It's too cold to hose the muscovy though. (Im not that mean to them)

I was honestly shocked with how massive they are! I have two 10lb+ pekins and they look quite small next to him.

He was very happy to take a bath after what I'm assuming was a pretty stressful journey.
