I just got a 6 month old silkie/Cochin mix. They said she's a rooster, but she looks like a hen to me. What gender is she?

Just seeing this, what was the result of if this baby was a roo or hen?
whats his color? a mottled? or silver laced?
My 6 weeker is black but has white spots only on the tips.
