I have a silkie hen and she has never had chicks but has layed normally. So now she has decided she wants to have chicks so she's been in the nesting box and protecting her eggs and everything and I couldn't be more proud. But before anything happened I had introduced another hen I had from my other coop since the heat was going to kill her (already killed one) so I moved her, I noticed since that new hen all my other chickens including the new hand have started picking on my silkie (greasy). It started as pecking so I thought it was just setting the hierarchy but it was strange since greasy is way older if not the same age as the other chickens. So then the new hen began chasing her to peck her lightly. So she began laying her eggs and im now waiting for her eggs to hatch. The problem is that when she comes out they pick on her and I have no Idea what to do. I also noticed this humongous poop, I literally saw her take the poop and I was shocked because this hen (greasy) is way smaller than your avarge silkie hen she's like a dwarf. How can I stop the "bullying"? and Is this huge poop a concern?
Thank you!
