What is killing my hens?

Last night. So she's not been eating.
Is she pooping?

A crop should be empty in the morning before they eat/drink. Re-check.

I don’t believe she’s eating. She might’ve been doing some foraging, but I haven’t seen her eat any feed.

She pooped green yesterday. Otherwise it’s just white urea.

What the farts y’all. Lady’s eye is swelling up again.

I’m at a complete loss. I’m taking both lady and Susan to the vet in the morning.

Well… so far no answer other than it’s something respiratory. Duh. Lol

He gave them both a shot of steroids and started them on baytril. Susan is now inside with lady and Daisy is on her lonesome outside.

The steroids did wonders. I meant to post the above this morning but didn’t hit post. Both girls have been eating and drinking. Lady isn’t open beak breathing anymore. Susan is making normal chicken sounds. Lady does still have a cough/sneeze thing, but it’s better than it was.

I’m very pleased and hope they continue to get better.

I’m feeding them chick crumble and they’re getting probiotics/electrolytes in their water.

They’re in our pantry now lol.

They’re making trouble in the play pen so I know they’re feeling better . Lady still has a bit of a cough but it’s sounding better than last night even, so I hope it’ll be gone soon.

My hens are doing well! Thank you for asking.

Unfortunately, I have 2 chicks showing symptoms. So we’ll see what happens.
