These are my Rouens and was wondering if someone might have ideas of the genders? I have a loud one that quacks so I presume thats a girl? Thank you!

about 6-7 weeks old now
They are still too young to sex. Around 14 to 15 weeks you'll start to notice green heads and grey light under feathers on the drakes. And they'll get the curled tail feather. Female will be smaller. At that age they all look like females. You can sometimes sex by the quakes girls are loud and the boys very soft raspy quakes. But I've had some girls sound like boys till they mature.

Those you have are beautiful!' Mine have the blue on their sides as well now and a touch of white on wings as well.

Another sign is leg color. Girls stay more brown and boys very bright orange. Back is female, front is female then two drakes. You can see is bright orange leg. Female bill will also be darker and boys lighter as they age.

Hi.

These are my Rouens and was wondering if someone might have ideas of the genders?

The first duckling on our right, at the front, look to be a boy...

The one just above him - still on our right - seem to be a girl...

But : if you could post more pictures of your ducks - especially of their rump (and with LIGHT pretty please) -, we might already be able to sex all of them...?
(Still : I am not an expert on Rouen ducks...)

I have a loud one that quacks so I presume thats a girl?

Don't presume their gender by voice sexing them : it is too early for that.

(I already had drakelets quacking like girls at around 3-months-old... so : let's be careful with it...!)
