I noticed these spots on Turken last week. I thought she may be just getting picked on, so I kept a close eye and didn't see any bullying. Then a spot popped up on Dante that I noticed today. I researched and it looks like Fowl Pox. There are no lesions in their mouths or foul odors, just these scabby, black spots. Our mosquito problem has been out of control this year in Texas, (got an absurd amount of rain this Spring, neighbor is a hoarder & has over 100 ponds/kiddy pools/tarps in backyard.), so I am guessing that's where they picked it up? We have mosquito traps, lights, cedar, mint & lemon balm but they're just so bad.)
Can I still vaccinate them agains FP if they already have it? I got them from TSC at the end of March as little fluffs, so they are around 13-14wks old. I cared for chickens all growing up, but these are my first urban girls. Never encountered this problem before. Thank you very much for any and all advice
