Herechickchick that is a gorgeous cake plate! Today was my daughter's 12th birthday, and I baked her a cake. But it was on a plain old clear glass plate. Nothing as lovely as the one you made.

I designed built assembled a computer for my wife...just because. The puter made it through the 72 hour burn-in with nary a fault and the benchmarks look great. I even installed MS Office and her favorite game Age of Empires...just because. Also there's a clear side panel with pink neon LED lights inside to match her fresh painted in "starfire orange(although it looks pink to me?)" and she's hooked up to the ethernet...just because. Yes dear, I'm going out to watch my chickens...No dear,I don't think you'll ever understand...here chick! Chick! Chick! Chick!

mmmmm, checked out all those cool pages on craftser.org...and crocheted some washcloths for my chicken wire baskets...

My Dad is beyond creative. I like to refer to him as the Redneck MacGyver. He made me an automatic chicken door opener for around $40.00. It is not pretty or compact by any means but it works (so far anyways) Some of the materials he used.........

2 timers- one to open one to close
2 small motors
2 jugs
wiring
tubing
rope
wood
screws
duct tape (ofcourse)

It took him a couple days to come up with the idea after I told him I wanted an auto chciken door for Christmas. He could not belive that they were so expensive and was determined to "rig" on up as he calls it

I made a couple of beaded necklaces in turquios (my god, how do you spell that word????) and jasper. They turned out really nice. I like to play with beads and make jewelry. I also turned a box into a pumpkin for the cub scouts cardbard stomp. Painting with a six year old is always fun.

I created yogurt. We finished the goats an indoor winter room with feeders, stalls and sleeping quarters. I am always sewing and crafting and making soap. I do creative things every day.

When I was visiting my dad in Fla. he showed me his stained glass pineapple, which he had dropped and broke. I offered to take it home with me, which I did, and fixed it for him. Actually I had to redo it and mail it back to him fedex. He doesn't have much time on this planet.

I hope he enjoys it.
