what is pressed wood made of?

I used 1/2 inch OSB and painted it with oil base barn paint. It has rain a lot, snowed, and we have very high humidity(in KY)! It is holding up very well!

A friend of ours made his pump house out of chip board or OSB and didn’t even paint it; it’s been there for 8 years now and still looks fine.

One of my dads wood working shops is walled with OSB. Its over 10 years old. I have a coop built with OSB. A good coat of exterior paint and its fine.
