It looks a lot like it, but I'm not in the UKthat's very like the sepia bolete, https://www.wildfooduk.com/mushroom-guide/xerocomellus-porosporus/ if so, edible if a bit tasteless, but not toxic anyway (few boletes are)

Thanks! I wouldn't have known thisFWIW mushrooms are generally not ID just by a picture. You have to examine a few things since some are really toxic.
