What is wrong with my flock??

Well i gave them the medicine on the 25th till the 29th. So about two weeks ago
I highly doubt that is why they are dying today.

What does they poop look like today?
Do you have Marek's disease in the flock?
What exactly are they eating?

Hello, @B_o. I am so sorry to hear about your chickens. I will be praying that they feel better.
I am new to chicken keeping, so I cannot really offer advice. My family recently de-wormed our chickens for the first time. They went into shock afterwards and couldn't stay awake. We ended up needing to tube a molasses solution into them. My sister created a thread for help. The folks there helped save the lives of our chickens. They are doing so well now. I thought maybe you would like to look through and see if anything might help:

I recognize your situation is not exactly the same as ours, but I figured I would share and maybe it could help. I truly hope your chickens recover well.
Thank you for this and im glad yours turned out okay. Ill def read on your sister’s thread so i can learn more❤️

I'm so sorry this happened. I recently wormed my flock. I used Valbazen which is a liquid goat wormer. We gave each one 1/2 ml right in the beak, and 10 days later repeated the dose. We did it at night when they had gone to roost so there was no problem catching them. My DH held them while I dosed them, and we put a band on each hen's leg as we did so we would know who was treated. The second time we treated them, we took the bands off.
Thank you, Thats a good plan ill keep that in mind for the future

Did you also stop the ivermectin at that time? If they have some kind of organ damage it could take time for the organ to shut down.

I'm wondering if activated charcoal could help at all. Can't hurt.
You'd have to shove the capsules in their beaks.

No the ivermectin stayed in their water for probably an extra 5 or so days after the 29th. And ill look into the charcoal, thanks

I gave them this. I read that ivermectin was good to give them as well but i never questioned if it was bad to give both at the same time.

Gave them about 6 tablets in total in 5 gallon water. 2 when the water was low and 4 when it was full. Its probably kidney failure isn’t it?

Sorry for your losses.

I would agree with @HollowOfWisps that they likely have succumbed to toxicity from being overmedicated.

I highly recommend that the ones you lost today, refrigerate the bodies and send them to your state lab just to make sure that toxicity is the cause and you are not dealing with something else.
You can find your state lab here:

Giving a flush may help, but it may be that the damage is already done and you lose more or they may have some long term effects if they survive, no one can say for sure.

Do Search for Flushes and read up on risks/rewards of using them - do some research of your own, don't just take someone's word and if you don't understand terminology, dosing, etc., then look those things up and come to an understanding before giving any medications/treatments.
