What killed my hen ?

4/4/22 yesterday my hen died from an unknown cause. I need help in figuring out what had killed her. My hen started showing symptoms of illnesses this Sunday morning (4/3/22). She kept on wheezing and making weird noises. I thought that this was going to go away but I was wrong. She grew worse as time passed. I made research on here on what she had. I suspected she had gapeworms but they are not as common? We gave her a home medicine and hoped for the best the next morning on Monday. She grew worse Monday morning she was trying to breathe/kept on gasping for breath. She turned purple gasping for breath. I had bought her some capsules for remedy that morning. I had to go to school so my mom spent the last moments trying to cure her but nothing worked. She unfortunately died that Monday morning. I was so upset when I heard the news but we got to bury her and put her to rest. I ask if you guys can help me identify what had killed her. So maybe it doesn’t affect the rest of my flock too. Hi Piko, In case no one knows the cause of death, you might consider sending her in for an autopsy.
