What kind of baby ducks are these, the mother is a mallard duck. I have different types of ducks.What kind of baby ducks are these, the mother is a mallard duck. I have different types of Drakes.

What you are seeing are the dominant allele traits coming through. So, the Mohawk baby has the restricted allele and it’s daddy is an Appleyard or possibly a Golden 300 hybrid. I think I see solid (no eye stripe) ducklings. If so (and mom is a mallard) black extended allele. So, dad could be a black or blue Swedish or a Cayuga. I can’t really tell if they have a yellow chest (bib) or not from your picture. The babies with the facial stripes are showing wild type. Daddy could be many things, as it is a dominant trait and mom has it. For example, dad could be Khaki, Welsh Harlequin, Rouen, Mallard. It would be easier if you said what drakes you have. Also, are you sure that other females did not add eggs to the nest?
