What kind of staples to use?

I have a narrow crown air stapler, I'm using 1 1/2" staples to staple my hardware cloth. This is the third coop I've built this way, never had a problem with the staples pulling out, or a predator removing them..........I do try to make sure not to staple the outside edge of the HC, I usually try to shoot across the corners of at least the second run on it. I'm not sure about an electric stapler.

THANK YOU! This post saved me about 2 days of pounding staples. I bought a narrow crown stapler this weekend and covered my run. Couldn’t imagine have done this without the stapler...worked perfectly!

Everyone says that the staples from the latter are easy enough to pull out. I used it and its extremely handy for attaching it. I just put a piece of wood over the edge secured with nails.

If its an actual crown stapler I'd use stainless crown staples as long as the gun will fit.

I too used the bang in 3/4 poultry staples. They worked well but... I think screws and washers would have been easier. And removal if ever needed would be much easier.

I can’t imagine having done my run with anything else. I did have a few times where I needed to remove staples and that is hard...so this is a permanent solution
