What kind of starter feed do you use?

I use game starter on mine it carries more Protine for the chicks and the grow fast Mine is 3 days and already getting pin fathers

Just wondering why you would use a feed specifically formulated for game birds, on chickens, when there is a feed made for them.

I got my chicks vaccinated for coccidiosis, and they say if you use medicated feed it will cause the vaccination to be no good. So I use game bird starter as well because it is the only thing I can get that is non-medicated

Getting non-medicated feed is difficult here too.

Well, I've used different varieties. One time I bought chick mash from a store near us called RockWells... then I bought chick starter from Tractor supply, and this time around I bought what the one feed store Knittle & Fry reccomended, and its a mash that can be used for different ages of poultry. It works really well.
