What made you happy today?

My chickens made me happy this morning.

My two cockerels in attendance for two pullets going in the boxes to lay. Love watching their interactions and listening to their vocalizations.

Regional management visited at work today and not only were they really nice, they were kind enough to switch the station to something that's not nonstop Christmas music. My sanity thanks them profusely as IMO Christmas music for any length of time is cruel and unusual punishment

I'm a Christian, and I agree. Most holiday music is cringe worthy.

My chickens made me happy this morning too.
They eat, they poop, they groom themselves, they look at me as if they are saying where is my breakfast? You are very late! It is just 4:30am in the morning for goodness sake, so demanding.
I love my chickens all the way to the moon and back!

Putting up the Christmas tree. We put it in the bedroom, and I love the pine smell.

I will be happy when my roo is back to his handsome self again. I miss seeing him dance, it is so beautiful when a rooster dance. 1 wing lift up high, 1 wing lower, standing on 1 leg, walk in circle around the hen and head till over to her. When I give him food he call the girls over and let them eat it. I have to secretly give him treat away from the girls or he gives it all to his girls.
