What made you happy today?

A lovely, cool (58°), overcast winter morning. Oatmeal with cinnamon and ghee and brown sugar for me, plus extra (plain) oatmeal for the chickens.

The prospect of going out to dinner with friends is making me happy today.

I will be happy today when I see my sick roo gets better, even just a tiny bit. He seen a vet and got his med.

Many years ago I watched this documentary about what make people happy. The research people do this experiment with many countries, they give their test subjects a device to press when they are feeling happy or not happy. After many years, their research founding is that people are happy when they have food, shelter, warm clothes, family, not sick...are many simply very basic NEED.

Hubby's guts are messed up, so we're not going. Dang.

A nap made me happy. My chickens out in the run, even thought it's only 16 degrees out made me happy.

Today getting outdoors for several hours made me happy. Even the wind did not deter me.
