What made you happy today?

Some sunshine today made me happy. I also took down the Christmas tree, finally. I can see the grandfather clock from where I'm sitting now!

I got the go ahead from the author of Drew's Grand Adventure to put my reading of it on my YouTube channel!

The neighbour's PoC dog didn't wake me up this morning.

Also, I'm up to 23 fewer mice in my greenhouse.

It's cold, cloudy and windy today!

And most importantly....

IT'S SNOWING!!!!!!

As you can tell, I am over the moon, I've been waiting all winter for this!

It's been cold, cloudy and windy all day - winter has arrived!

The girls went to roost with full crops after gorging on warm mash and boiled chicken breast flavored with a hint of coconut oil.

It's quiet outside - most people here don't like this weather. We rarely have quiet.

Sunshine, blue skies. (Although it still hasn't been anywhere close to freezing in days, it LOOKS warm out there!)

My GC made a pineapple-upside-down GF cake.

It's warm in here by the wood stove.

Last time I made them, I added 1 cup of water to (hopefully) make the oats softer. The result was more like cake, and I really like it. So I called it grownie cake. I put in a generous cup of raisins. I had to bake it about an hour.
