Do pigeons take sand baths?

or what do they need if they are caged..

sorry I am totally new to raising pigeons

us there a place to read of how to take care of them?

I have 1 pair of Indian Fantails

What is the setup they are in now? Loft? Cage?
Well, yes they bathe. Not sand bathing, just a pan of water is fine. I opt for a deep metal roasting pan, the ones we use to roast our thanksgiving turkeys and christmas roasts. They need something deep.
Lukewarm water is fine.
Give them access to one 3 times a week.

Pigeons love taking baths. They don't take dirt baths like chickens though, usually. You can put some borax in the water to get rid of parasites and make the feathers smooth.

Right now they are in a coop I built from leftover wood

Like other have said, they love water baths. Mine are particularly fond of sprayed water, and don't like sitting water as much (they are two house pigeons). I either mist mine with a spray bottle that has a nice diffuse mist setting, or let them take a shower in the bathroom shower, which they go nuts over. The birds were much the same at an aviary, and they had a misting tube over the top of their enclosure that they would bath in. Those are pretty easy to build, and you can find directions online. :)

You have house pigeons too? i have both outdoor and indoors, but I am partial to my indoor pigeons Muffi and West. A female Fantail and a male WOE Tumbler.

What a cute pair that sounds like Gunnar! Is that them in your icon? My husband owns a female ringneck dove, and I own a male Classic Oriental Frill. They live together, and are just so nice to have around. Love their coos and her 'laugh'. My guy is a bit...special though. He is amazing at not being able to fly or perch.

That's them! They LOVE eating my dinner with me....... I even give them salmon and chicken sometimes, and they love it! The coos are soothing to me, but my friends and family can't STAND waking up to them in the morning! Guess we all adapt to it! Your guys sounds cute too! Do you have pictures of the triumvirate?

Here's Mr. Gorgeous but none-too-bright:

Here's my husband's normally delicate little girl looking rather frumpy (I think she gets ticked off at the pigeon for being a bit...slow. He was trying to eat his and her toes when I took this):
