Update... they seem to be barred. They are huge twice as big as the white rock chicks that hatched out with them.

So I have always had white rocks. They have been breeding well and I love them. Last year I bought some brown leghorns (female only). They were a flighty breed for me and I decided I wouldn't go there again but let them free range with my flock. Don't know why I did it but I have six white rock leghornhorn babies ready to hatch in 2 days. They all look great. Does anyone have experience with this cross.

Would you mind posting an update about how these hens turned out? I'm thinking of doing a similar cross. Thank you!
