grapes, sunflower seeds and BSFL on a daily basis. Kitchen scraps when available and we,’ll throw wood chips in the chicken yard for them to rummage through until we cut them loose in the evening onto the rest of the property.

ditto on the blueberries, ours go absolutely insane for them.Thawed out frozen blueberries! I can't ever wear dark nail polish, or they think I have them on my fingers, haha! They like the curly bits of kale, and love romaine lettuce. Oregano and thyme are a hit, and they LOOOVE pineapple sage.
do you thaw the blueberries out at all?I feel bad they can't free range (too many predators) or forage (not much to forage in the desert) so I try to make sure they regularly get some greens and and other treats like spinach, oat or wheat grass, cabbage, pumpkin, apples, etc. When it's hot they get frozen peas and blueberries.
For immune support, oregano has a whole Host of fabulous health benefits. (Antibiotic, anti viral, anti-inflammatory, etc )Why do you put oregano oil in their water? I've never heard of doing that.
Wow, how awesomeI throw a handful of cat food out on super cold winter days. They go nuts for it and I like to think its a little morale boost! Winters here are harsh and mostly no foraging available, so try to give them a little extra. Oh, they also get the deer carcasses to pick at once we have harvested the meat- another fan favorite!
I call it capture the flag or keep away!!!!!
Do they actually get in the sled?We use a sled during summer as a cool area/pool to walk through. We have multiple fans. And like freezing blocks of veggies/fruit.
Cut alfalfa , BOSS, and dried black soldier flies on occasion, same with tomatoes.
Yup! Our Brahma's use it more than the othersDo they actually get in the sled?
