What temperature do I keep my eggs?

I had left a fertilized egg in the favorite nesting box and turned it every 2 hours while i waited for my incubator to come. It was laid April 1, and it came in today. What temperature do I keep it at?

About 100 degrees Fahrenheit. How do you know it's fertile?

All the eggs I cracked open have been fertile.

Don't incubate just one egg.. chicks thrive in groups but are not meant to be alone. Collect a whole clutch onto the counter (or temperature stable room) and set in the incubator on the same day. Leaving them in the (favorite) lay box leaves more chance for breakage and contamination.

What temperature depends on the incubator type.. forced air is around 100.. and still air is around 102 measured at the top of the eggs. Humidity is important too.
