Sorry if this topic already exists, I couldn't find anything in the search.

I'm fairly certain all my hens are more than old enough to start laying eggs. At night I put them in their pen, but at day they are free to wander the yard.

Every morning I check their pen for eggs and not a single egg yet. Are they laying them during the day? I scour the yard every day for eggs as well, maybe where I am just not finding them?

They will lay USUALLY early in the morning. Ours are done by 6:45-7:00 am. How old are your ducks?

my duck lay early morning. My Khaki Campbell didnt start laying til she was 6 months old but has rarely missed a day since. Her daughters started at around 4 to 5 months they are Campbell/Runner mixes and my Pekin started at 5 months.

Mine are about 7:00 a.m. as well. Since that is also the time that I go out to let them out of their houses for the day, and they LOVE being out of their houses, that means I often end up with then dropping those eggs on the ground instead of in the house. Nothiing like a warm slimy newly dropped egg.
